The Department of Artificial Intelligence Engineering Technologies, under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and under the supervision of the College Deanship, organized a joint scientific activity titled “Employing Artificial Intelligence Tools in Cybersecurity” on Monday, April 6, 2026, on the university campus. This initiative is part of the university’s efforts to enhance knowledge integration across modern disciplines and to keep pace with the rapid developments in both technological and security fields.
The activity addressed several key topics, emphasizing the importance of using artificial intelligence techniques for the early detection of cyber threats and the analysis of security data, as well as the development of intelligent systems capable of predicting and effectively countering cyberattacks. The event also witnessed active participation from faculty members and students, allowing for the exchange of ideas and expertise, alongside practical applications that highlight the vital role of artificial intelligence in supporting cybersecurity systems.
This activity aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), by supporting technical education and fostering innovation.
