Women's Affairs Unit Organizes an Awareness Activity on Recovering from Bullying

The Women's Affairs Unit at the College of Engineering Technology, Mustaqbal University, organized an awareness activity titled "Recovering from Bullying" on Tuesday, April 14, 2026. Held under the patronage of the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, the initiative aimed to promote mutual respect and tolerance within the university environment. Supervised by Dr. Ahd Hamid and conducted by Asst. Lect. Zahraa Salah Hadi from the Fuel and Energy Engineering Techniques Department, in cooperation with the Women's Affairs Division, the activity aligns with the "Recovery" pillar of the National Plan for Iraqi Women. Female students actively participated by distributing brochures explaining the dangers and negative impacts of bullying. The activity highlighted the necessity of addressing negative behaviors and encouraging students to support their peers to create a safe and motivating educational environment. Organizers emphasized that spreading a culture of dialogue and respect aligns with educational efforts to build a cohesive university community. This event fulfills Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) by consolidating ethical values and supporting social peace, while strengthening the role of women in humanitarian and educational initiatives within the academic sphere.
