Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Arts and Humanities, Professor Dr. Hussein Waheed Aziz, with the follow-up of the Head of the Department of Archaeology, Dr. Angham Salim Al-Dulaimi, On the occasion of the International Day for Monuments and Sites, the Department of Archaeology organized an awareness campaign targeting university students. The campaign aimed to enhance awareness of the importance of preserving archaeological sites and ensuring their sustainability, as they represent living evidence of the history of civilizations and a fundamental source of cultural identity and human knowledge. The campaign focused on the concept of sustainability of archaeological sites by emphasizing their protection from vandalism and ensuring their preservation for future generations through responsible and conscious practices. These include maintaining cleanliness, refraining from writing on walls, and supporting scientific efforts in conservation and restoration according to modern methodologies. The campaign also included the distribution of awareness brochures among students, presenting practical guidelines for preserving these sites and highlighting the impact of individual behavior in either protecting or damaging them. Faculty members and students of the Department of Archaeology participated in the campaign, promoting a spirit of cooperation and social responsibility, and reinforcing a culture of respect for archaeological sites as a shared human heritage. #Al-Mustaqbal University_Ranks_First_Among_Private_Universities_in_Iraq
