Within the framework of the strategic directions of the Presidency of AL-Mustaqbal University, and with the direct support of the Deanship of the College of Health and Medical Technologies, and in alignment with the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals—particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education)—a scientific delegation from the Department of Medical Laboratory Technologies and the Department of Anesthesia Technologies conducted an academic visit to Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University / Kufa – College of Health and Medical Technologies. This visit comes ضمن the scientific twinning program between the two universities, aiming to strengthen academic cooperation, unify scientific perspectives, and align curricular packages for evaluative subjects with their counterpart departments, thereby contributing to enhancing students’ academic performance and achieving quality standards in medical education. The delegation included a distinguished group of specialized faculty members, headed by the Head of the Department of Medical Laboratory Technologies, with the participation of the Head of the Department of Anesthesia Technologies, along with several professors teaching specialized subjects across different academic stages. The visit featured a meeting with the Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies at the host university, in addition to expanded sessions with department heads and faculty members responsible for evaluative courses. These discussions involved reviewing course syllabi and curricular packages, as well as examining the mechanisms of final evaluative examinations—both theoretical and practical—in a manner that ensures clarity for students and optimal preparation for their final assessments. This visit reflects AL-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to strengthening effective academic partnerships and adopting best academic practices that support the journey toward excellence and institutional accreditation.
