Students of Al-Mustaqbal University began, on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, their joint training program at Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University in the Republic of Turkey, as part of the university’s vision to enhance international academic openness and develop students’ skills in line with global labor market demands. The first day featured an official reception by the Rector of the university, Kenan Ahmet Türkdoğan, who welcomed the Al-Mustaqbal University delegation, which included Amir Najah, Mustafa Hussein Mohammed, and Ali Mazher. The delegation conveyed the greetings of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, emphasizing the importance of this strategic partnership in supporting scientific research and enhancing students’ practical skills. The first day’s program included a comprehensive academic tour of the campus, supervised by Alptekin and Leyla Akbulat, during which students explored advanced laboratories and scientific facilities in the Faculties of Medicine, Science, and Engineering, reflecting the university’s high-level educational infrastructure. The activities also included a visit to the Solar Energy Production Center, highlighting a shared commitment to renewable energy and sustainability, in addition to an interactive session that brought together Iraqi and Turkish students to exchange academic expertise and strengthen cultural and scientific communication. This program aligns with Al-Mustaqbal University’s efforts to provide a modern educational environment based on international collaboration and to prepare its students with the skills required to effectively compete in the global labor market. This initiative also reflects the university’s commitment to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
