The Department of Artificial Intelligence Techniques at Al-Mustaqbal University, the leading private university in Iraq, organized an awareness and scientific activity under the patronage of Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of the University, in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Division, and under the supervision of the Head of the Department, Dr. Zahraa Hashem. The activity was held as part of the event titled “Empowering Young Minds: A Journey into Artificial Intelligence and Sustainability,” targeting children of Smart Road Kindergarten for Gifted Children on Monday, 4/5/2026. The activity included the distribution of educational brochures highlighting the role of artificial intelligence in education and the development of children’s skills, in addition to a scientific workshop titled “The Role of Working Women in Advancing Society Using Artificial Intelligence Technology.” The workshop aimed to enhance technological and social awareness among children through a simple and interactive approach, while also emphasizing the important role of women in employing modern technologies to serve society. This activity aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, Goal 5: Gender Equality, and Goal 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure. It also supports the pillars of the Iraqi National Women’s Plan by empowering women, promoting education and technology, and enhancing community awareness among younger generations.
