Under the patronage of the President of AL-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdy, the College of Health and Medical Technologies inaugurated the Technological Science Gardens Unit, becoming the first college to establish such a unit in alignment with the directives of the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to support innovation and foster an applied scientific environment within academic institutions. The inauguration ceremony was attended by the resident ministerial team for programmatic accreditation, represented by the Head of the Team, Professor Dr. Safaa Mustafa; the Vice Chairperson of the National Accreditation Council for Health and Medical Technical Colleges, Assistant Professor Dr. Hawraa Natiq Kabroot; and the supervisor, Professor Dr. Dawood Salman Mahdi. The event was also attended by Professor Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, representing the University Presidency. The establishment of the unit came under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Dr. Zahraa Haleem Al-Qayyim, and with the follow-up of Engineer Hawraa Haleem Khalil, as part of the college’s vision to embrace talented students and provide an advanced scientific environment that contributes to the development of research projects and innovative ideas. The Technological Science Gardens Unit includes a variety of student-led projects and innovations in the health and medical fields under the supervision of distinguished faculty members. The unit aims to develop creative ideas and transform them into practical and marketable projects while preserving the intellectual property rights of innovators. This unit represents an integrated scientific platform that enhances the connection between academic knowledge and practical application, promotes a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among students, and supports the healthcare sector with modern solutions and technologies that keep pace with global advancements and address community needs.
