The article highlighted the role of urban design in organizing squares, parks, streets, and public pathways in a way that achieves a balance between functional, aesthetic, and social aspects, contributing to the creation of safe and comfortable urban spaces that support human interaction and strengthen the sense of belonging to place. It also addressed the importance of adopting sustainability concepts in the design of public spaces through enhancing green areas, using environmentally friendly materials, and providing inclusive urban environments that meet the needs of all community groups, including people with special needs. The article emphasized that contemporary urban design represents an effective tool for building more vibrant and humane cities by developing public spaces that encourage social interaction and improve the urban landscape in line with the principles of sustainable development.
