Research.com, the global platform specialized in evaluating academic and research performance, honored the Dean of the Engineering Technical College at Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abd, after he was ranked among the best scholars in Engineering and Technology in Iraq for 2026, achieving the third position locally and ranking (5023) globally. This scientific achievement came as a result of attaining a D-Index score of (46), in addition to recording more than (7,345) scientific citations, reflecting the significant academic and research impact he has achieved in the fields of engineering and technology at both local and international levels. The global ranking relied on accurate bibliometric data based on reputable international databases, including OpenAlex and CrossRef, with the aim of measuring the quality of scientific outputs and their academic influence within the global research community. This scientific progress reflects Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment, as the leading private university in Iraq, to supporting scientific research and innovation, while strengthening the international presence of its academic staff in global forums and rankings. This aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, and Goal 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure.
