Dr. Hazim Mohammed Dayekh, Head of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Unit at the College of Administrative Sciences, Al-Mustaqbal University, participated in the specialized workshop organized by the university's Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance on the occasion of World Accreditation Day. The event was attended by directors and quality assurance officers from the various colleges of the university as part of efforts to strengthen the culture of quality, academic and institutional accreditation, and the continuous development of university performance. The workshop, led by Dr. Riyadh Hameed Salman, Director of the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance, highlighted the latest national and international trends in academic and institutional accreditation. It also addressed the role of quality systems in achieving academic sustainability and enhancing institutional performance in accordance with national and international standards. The workshop featured several scientific themes focusing on the importance of accreditation as a strategic tool for continuous improvement, mechanisms for utilizing accreditation outcomes to enhance the quality of teaching, learning, scientific research, and university services, as well as reviewing best institutional practices that contribute to strengthening the readiness of academic programs and educational institutions to obtain various forms of accreditation. Discussions emphasized the importance of promoting a culture of quality and institutional excellence as a fundamental pillar for developing academic and administrative performance, in alignment with Al-Mustaqbal University’s vision of building an integrated educational system based on continuous improvement, good governance, and institutional innovation. The participation of the College of Administrative Sciences in this workshop reflects its commitment to strengthening quality assurance and academic accreditation requirements and its dedication to keeping pace with the latest developments and leading experiences in this field.
