In a significant step toward expanding its international academic presence and strengthening scientific partnerships with leading global institutions, the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Hassan Shakir Majdi, accompanied by the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Professor Ahmed Al-Dhalimi, and the Cultural Attaché in the United Kingdom, Professor Qusai Al-Ahmadi, paid an official visit to the University of Nottingham, one of the world's leading universities in education and research. The visit included a series of productive meetings with academic leaders and officials from the School of Pharmacy at the University of Nottingham. Discussions focused on enhancing cooperation in education and scientific research, as well as exploring opportunities for joint academic programs, dual-degree initiatives, and collaborative research projects aimed at advancing pharmaceutical education and fostering scientific innovation. This partnership holds particular significance given the distinguished reputation of the University of Nottingham's School of Pharmacy, which is ranked first in the United Kingdom and eighth globally in the field of pharmacy. The school also maintains strong strategic partnerships with leading pharmaceutical organizations, providing an advanced educational and research environment and promising career opportunities for its graduates. Meanwhile, the College of Pharmacy at Al-Mustaqbal University continues to strengthen its academic standing through its achievement of American accreditation for pharmacy education, reflecting its commitment to implementing the highest international standards in pharmaceutical education and training. The visit concluded with the official signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Al-Mustaqbal University and the University of Nottingham School of Pharmacy. The agreement aims to enhance academic and research collaboration, facilitate the exchange of expertise among faculty members and researchers, and create advanced educational and training opportunities for undergraduate and postgraduate students in pharmaceutical sciences and biotechnology, further supporting Al-Mustaqbal University's vision for academic excellence and international engagement.
