As part of the scientific activities that our college consistently organizes to promote a vibrant research environment and foster academic exchange, we look back today on the memorable atmosphere of the Scientific Conference held at the college on April 12–13 of this year. The conference represented a distinguished academic event that brought together a select group of researchers and academics from various Iraqi universities. The conference served as a platform for constructive scientific dialogue, providing participants with the opportunity to present and discuss a wide range of specialized research papers and studies across diverse fields. This reflected the richness and diversity of research interests and highlighted the integration of knowledge across disciplines. The broad participation of faculty members and researchers from most Iraqi universities further enriched the conference sessions and elevated the level of scholarly discussion, contributing to the advancement of academic knowledge and the promotion of scientific research in Iraq. The conference activities were characterized by a serious and productive academic atmosphere, featuring research sessions and constructive discussions that reflected the spirit of scientific cooperation and academic openness among higher education institutions. These interactions facilitated the exchange of expertise and research experiences among participants and strengthened opportunities for future academic collaboration. The conference was held under the theme “Poverty and Sustainable Development in Iraq: Cost of Impact and Response Policy” In conclusion, the conference represented an important milestone in the college's record of scientific activities and a significant step toward strengthening the culture of scientific research and enhancing cooperation among Iraqi universities in support of the country’s academic and scientific advancement.
