As part of its continuous efforts to keep pace with digital transformation and enhance the competencies of its academic and administrative personnel, Al-Mustaqbal University has launched the “AI Literacy Program” under the direct patronage and supervision of the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and with the follow-up of the Director of Academic Supervision, Professor Dr. Mudhafar Al-Zuhairi. The program is organized by the Continuing Education Center, headed by Professor Dr. Wael Al-Nadawi. The first phase of the program witnessed remarkable participation and a distinguished attendance of a select group of the University’s faculty members and staff. The sessions were delivered by specialized professors and lecturers in the fields of artificial intelligence and modern technologies, reflecting the University’s commitment to building an advanced educational environment based on innovation and digital knowledge. The program aims to equip participants with the essential skills required to engage effectively with artificial intelligence technologies and their diverse applications, thereby contributing to the enhancement of academic and administrative performance and strengthening digital readiness to meet the demands of the modern era. The program targets faculty members, employees, and students, and consists of six progressive training levels within the approved AI Literacy Framework: • A1 – AI Awareness Course • A2 – Basic AI User Course • B1 – Intermediate AI User Course • B2 – Advanced AI User Course • C1 – Professional AI User Course • C2 – AI Expert Course The program is expected to enable participants to understand the fundamental concepts of artificial intelligence, explore its different types and emerging trends—including analytical, predictive, and generative AI—and apply these technologies in academic and administrative fields. The University administration affirmed that the launch of this program comes in response to the accelerating technological developments and reflects its commitment to refining the capabilities of its academic and administrative staff, ensuring the effective integration of AI technologies into various aspects of university operations in line with modern global standards.
