Dean of the College of Medicine Conducts Field Visit to the Examination Committee to Review the Final Stages of Its Work

As part of the College of Medicine's commitment to monitoring the examination process and reinforcing the principles of transparency and fairness in student assessment, the Dean of the College of Medicine, **Professor Dr. Walaa Luay Al-Falluji**, conducted a field visit to the College Examination Committee. The visit was attended by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, the Chair of the Examination Committee, and the committee members. During the visit, a meeting was held to discuss students' appeals regarding the final examination results. The committee reviewed the procedures for receiving and processing appeals, examining answer booklets and electronic responses, and verifying that grades had been calculated in accordance with the regulations and guidelines issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The Dean emphasized the importance of handling all appeals with the highest levels of professionalism, impartiality, and transparency to ensure fairness for all students while maintaining the integrity of the academic process. The meeting also addressed the Ministry's **HEPIC** system and the mechanisms for its implementation in examination management. Participants reviewed key observations related to the system's use and its contribution to organizing examination data, managing grades, facilitating auditing procedures, and announcing results. The Dean stressed the need to further enhance the system's implementation by overcoming technical and administrative challenges, thereby improving efficiency and ensuring greater accuracy and speed in completing examination-related tasks. During the meeting, the Dean reaffirmed that the College places students' interests and the quality of education at the forefront of its priorities. He praised the Examination Committee for its dedicated efforts to ensure that examinations are conducted in accordance with approved academic standards, and called for continued cooperation among the academic, administrative, and technical committees to further strengthen the educational process and promote a fair and transparent university environment.
