The College of Education at Al-Mustaqbal University held its 12th Council meeting on Saturday, August 8, 2026, in the presence of the University President, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and the Dean of the College of Education, Assist. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Rudwan Salman, with the participation of the Assistant Deans for Scientific and Administrative Affairs, Heads of Academic Departments, and Department Rapporteurs. The meeting addressed a number of important academic and administrative matters and followed up on the progress of work in accordance with approved plans and directives.
At the beginning of the meeting, the University President delivered a directive speech, emphasizing the importance of continuing to work in a spirit of teamwork and improving the level of academic and administrative performance. He also stressed the need to follow up on students’ affairs and complete their transactions within the specified timeframes, in a manner that contributes to enhancing the quality of institutional work and achieving the best possible outcomes.
The University President further emphasized the importance of accuracy in dealing with the approved electronic systems, particularly with regard to entering, reviewing, and transferring students’ grades. He stressed the necessity of addressing student cases in accordance with approved procedures and regulations, ensuring smooth administrative processes, safeguarding students’ rights, and enhancing the accuracy of academic data.
The meeting addressed several key topics, foremost among them the follow-up and processing of special student cases, discussing mechanisms for uploading and reviewing grades through the electronic system, and following up on the procedures for transferring data within the SIS system. The Council also emphasized completing all requirements related to students’ academic files and records.
The Council also discussed mechanisms for organizing work between academic departments and the relevant administrative units, stressing the need to intensify follow-up and coordination to ensure that assigned tasks are completed within the specified deadlines. The meeting also reviewed the main challenges that may affect the workflow and discussed appropriate solutions to address them.
For his part, the Dean of the College of Education, Assist. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Rudwan Salman, emphasized the importance of implementing the directives issued by the University Presidency and continuing direct follow-up of various academic and administrative matters. He commended the efforts made by the academic departments, committees, and administrative units to complete the required tasks and achieve an advanced level of performance.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the participants emphasized the need to follow up on the implementation of the decisions and recommendations issued, and to maintain continuous coordination between the College Deanship, academic departments, and relevant units. This aims to ensure the smooth operation of work, improve the quality of services provided to students, and achieve the College’s objectives in accordance with quality standards and institutional performance requirements.
