**College of Medicine Council Holds Its Twelfth Meeting for the Academic Year 2025–2026**

The College of Medicine Council held its twelfth meeting for the current academic year 2025–2026, chaired by Prof. Dr. Walaa Luay Al-Falouji, Dean of the College, and attended by the Assistant Deans, Heads of Scientific Departments, and members of the Council. The meeting addressed a number of academic, scientific, student-related, and administrative matters. On the **scientific level**, the Council discussed mechanisms for developing the academic curricula and updating course descriptions in line with the requirements of academic accreditation, with an emphasis on employing modern technologies, including artificial intelligence and medical simulation. The Council also followed up on activating scientific cooperation mechanisms with universities and academic institutions, in addition to discussing the scientific plans of all scientific departments. On the **student level**, the Council discussed mechanisms for addressing the cases of students who are required to complete outstanding academic requirements, in accordance with the latest ministerial directive issued in this regard. The Council also approved the lists of students covered by the decision concerning the treatment of such cases. In addition, preparations for the second-round examinations were discussed to ensure their implementation in accordance with quality standards. On the **administrative level**, the Council approved the activation of all relevant academic and administrative units in accordance with the components of the curriculum for the upcoming third stage in the new academic year at the College. The meeting concluded with an emphasis on completing the requirements of quality assurance and institutional accreditation, continuing the development of infrastructure, and enhancing scientific and research activities and community service, in a manner that contributes to raising the level of academic performance at the College.
