A new book authored by the Dean of the College of Law at Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Ammar Abbas Al-Husseini, has recently been published by Dar Al-Nahda Al-Arabiya in Cairo under the title “Legal Provisions Governing Intelligent Robots: Between the Dominance of Machines and the Authority of Law.” The book addresses one of the contemporary legal issues arising from the rapid development of artificial intelligence and intelligent robotics. It highlights the most significant legal challenges associated with the use of these technologies and examines the extent to which traditional and modern legal rules are capable of regulating them and addressing their implications and challenges. The publication also discusses the growing relationship between technological advancement and the authority of law, as well as the legal issues resulting from the expanding use of intelligent systems and robots, which require further research, legal foundation, and the development of appropriate regulatory frameworks. The publication of this book comes as part of the College of Law at Al-Mustaqbal University’s ongoing scientific and academic contributions and its commitment to keeping pace with emerging legal issues, thereby contributing to enriching the Arab legal library with specialized studies in the fields of law, technology, and artificial intelligence.
