As part of its commitment to strengthening practical education and connecting academic knowledge with field-based practices, Al-Mustaqbal University continues to implement scientific and practical projects that contribute to developing students’ skills and enhancing their ability to engage with modern agricultural and production applications, in line with the requirements of sustainable development and the needs of the future. The University organized a specialized scientific and practical activity for the breeding and farming of carp fish, in cooperation between the Diwan Affairs Department and the College of Agricultural Technologies / Department of Animal Production Techniques. The activity included a range of practical procedures aimed at providing a suitable and sustainable environment for fish farming. These procedures involved preparing and conditioning the ponds according to the required farming conditions, continuously monitoring water quality, organizing and managing feeding practices, as well as measuring and monitoring relevant environmental indicators to ensure fish health and provide optimal conditions for growth and production. This activity forms part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s ongoing efforts to promote practice-based education and expand field projects that enable students to apply their scientific knowledge in real-world environments. It also contributes to developing their specialized practical expertise and supports the University’s commitment to innovation and sustainability in the fields of agriculture and animal production.
