The College of Law at Al-Mustaqbal University celebrated, on Saturday, September 26, 2026, the launch of the second cohort of its postgraduate (Master’s) program, hosted by the Faculty of Law at Mansoura University, in the fields of Administrative Law and Public International Law, marking the beginning of the 2026–2027 academic year. The ceremony was attended by the Governor of Babylon, Mr. Ali Turki, the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, the Dean of the College of Law, Prof. Dr. Ammar Abbas Al-Husseini, along with a number of faculty members and postgraduate students. The launch of the second cohort reflects the College of Law’s commitment to advancing its postgraduate academic programs, providing a scientific environment that contributes to developing the research and academic capabilities of Master’s students, and strengthening academic cooperation with reputable higher education institutions. In his speech during the ceremony, the Dean of the College of Law, Prof. Dr. Ammar Abbas Al-Husseini, welcomed the postgraduate students, emphasizing that the launch of the second cohort represents an important academic milestone in the College’s journey and reflects its continued commitment to advancing the quality of higher education and scientific research. He noted that the beginning of the 2026–2027 academic year represents a new opportunity for students to continue their academic journey, calling on them to adhere to scientific methodology, benefit from the expertise of faculty members, and strive to produce high-quality legal research and studies that contribute to serving society and advancing legal knowledge. The Dean also highlighted the importance of academic cooperation with the Faculty of Law at Mansoura University and the opportunities the program provides for students to specialize in Administrative Law and Public International Law through an academic pathway that contributes to preparing qualified legal and research professionals. The ceremony concluded with an affirmation of the College of Law’s continued support for postgraduate students and its commitment to providing the academic and scientific requirements necessary for the success of their studies throughout the new academic year.
