At its first meeting with the College’s staff for the 2026–2027 academic year, the College of Engineering at Al-Mustaqbal University discussed academic and administrative priorities and ways to prepare its departments for the new year. The meeting was chaired by the Dean of the College, Assist. Prof. Dr. Ali Shakir Majdi. The meeting focused on ensuring that lectures run regularly, allocating teaching loads, completing examination-related work, setting research priorities, and strengthening the departments’ online presence and documentation of their activities. Part of the meeting was also devoted to promoting engineering disciplines and attracting first-year students. Previous challenges were reviewed, and measures to improve performance were discussed.
