On Saturday, September 21, 2026, the Quality Assurance Officer for the College of Science Laboratories, Dr. Karrar Majeed Obaid, together with the University Laboratory Quality Assurance Officer, Assistant Professor Dr. Dakhel Nasser Taha, held a meeting attended by a number of teaching assistants from the College of Science departments to discuss and review the requirements for scientific laboratory quality. The meeting addressed several key topics related to the development of scientific laboratories, the implementation of quality assurance requirements and academic accreditation standards, as well as mechanisms for improving the laboratory environment and enhancing operational procedures to achieve higher levels of efficiency and quality in support of educational, research, and practical activities. The participants emphasized the importance of collaboration between laboratory quality officials and departmental teaching assistants to ensure compliance with quality standards, promote a culture of continuous improvement, and strengthen the university’s efforts toward developing advanced laboratory infrastructure.
