The Department of Biology at the College of Science, Al-Mustaqbal University, conducted elections for student representatives across the four academic stages, under the supervision of the department’s Student Representatives Election Committee and with the participation of students from all academic stages. The initiative aims to strengthen student participation and activate their role in university life. The electoral process was conducted according to an organized mechanism that enabled students to select representatives for their respective academic stages, contributing to strengthening communication between students and the department administration and conveying their needs, feedback, and suggestions regarding academic and organizational matters. The elections witnessed active participation and engagement from students across the four academic stages, reflecting their commitment to playing an active role in the activities and organizational mechanisms adopted by the department, while fostering a spirit of responsibility, leadership, and teamwork. The initiative also aims to support direct communication channels between students and the department, enabling student representatives to follow up on their colleagues’ affairs and communicate their needs, contributing to addressing feedback and overcoming challenges they may encounter throughout their academic journey. The student representative elections are part of the Department of Biology’s commitment to fostering an interactive university environment, supporting student participation in the educational process, and promoting the values of dialogue, cooperation, and responsibility in line with the university’s academic and administrative directions.
