On Monday, October 12, 2026, the Department of Artificial Intelligence at Al-Mustaqbal University organized a scientific workshop entitled "Responsible Artificial Intelligence: Towards a Safer Digital Future," presented by Lecturer Aya Mohammed Hussein. The workshop addressed the fundamental concepts of responsible artificial intelligence and the importance of applying ethics and transparency in developing algorithms and intelligent systems. It also focused on how to mitigate cybersecurity risks and protect user data privacy, emphasizing the role of technological governance in ensuring the safe and effective use of these technologies. This workshop is part of the department's and the university's ongoing efforts to promote academic and technical awareness and equip students to keep pace with modern digital developments responsibly and efficiently. Al-Mustaqbal University is ranked first among Iraqi private universities.
