On Monday, October 12, 2026, students from the Department of Cybersecurity Engineering Technologies at the Engineering Technical College, Al-Mustaqbal University, conducted a field-based scientific survey addressing the most common cyber threats and attacks. The survey aimed to raise digital security awareness and assess users’ understanding of protection and prevention measures, particularly against phishing attacks and ransomware. It also sought to collect and analyze data to identify indicators that support safer digital practices and promote cybersecurity awareness within the community. This activity reflects Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to connecting academic knowledge with practical application and developing students’ skills, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure. Al-Mustaqbal University continues its journey of academic excellence as the number one private university in Iraq.
