As part of the ongoing implementation of the academic curriculum and the development of students' programming and analytical skills, Lecturer Aya Mohammed Hussein delivered a theoretical lecture on "Search Strategies" to second-year students on Monday, October 12, 2026. The lecture covered the mechanisms for representing and implementing State Space Search algorithms using the logic programming language Prolog. It explained how to formulate facts and recursive rules, as well as how to utilize lists and the backtracking feature to construct and retrieve the solution path—transitioning from the initial state to the target goal—thereby enhancing the students' understanding of the programming and artificial intelligence aspects of the subject.
