Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, the university launched its Erasmus Days 2026 activities, with the participation of the assistant presidents, several college deans, the director of scientific and academic supervision, and directors of departments and divisions at the university presidency. The initiative aims to strengthen international academic cooperation and highlight partnership opportunities with European universities and educational institutions.
The activities featured an introductory workshop delivered by Ms. Elaf Salah Mahdi, Head of the Erasmus Unit at the University Presidency. The workshop explored Erasmus+ programs and mechanisms for utilizing their opportunities to advance higher education, expand academic exchange opportunities for students, faculty members, and researchers, support joint scientific projects, and facilitate the exchange of expertise among academic institutions.
The workshop also highlighted priority areas within Erasmus+ programs, with particular emphasis on developing academic, professional, and digital skills, enhancing faculty capabilities, and opening new avenues for research collaboration and international training in response to the rapidly evolving higher education landscape.
This year’s activities are held under the theme “Learning and Growing: Skills for Tomorrow,” emphasizing the importance of acquiring future-oriented skills and integrating knowledge and modern technologies into the development of educational practices.
This initiative holds particular significance for the College of Administrative Sciences, as international cooperation programs provide valuable opportunities for exchanging expertise in management, business, accounting, financial and banking sciences, and marketing. They also contribute to developing research and professional skills while strengthening engagement with international academic experiences and practices.
These activities form part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s ongoing efforts to expand its network of academic partnerships and enhance the participation of students and faculty members in international cooperation and exchange programs, thereby supporting the development of academic programs and scientific research.
