Under the patronage of the President of the University of Al-Mustaqbal, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Magdy, the university launched the activities of Erasmus Days 2026, with the participation of the President’s Assistants, College Deans, the Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, and directors of departments and divisions at the University Presidency. The event reflects the university’s commitment to strengthening international academic cooperation and expanding partnerships with European universities and educational institutions. The activities included an introductory workshop presented by Ms. Eilaf Salah Mahdi, Head of the Erasmus Unit at the University Presidency. The workshop highlighted the nature of Erasmus programmes and their importance in advancing higher education, building academic and professional capacities, developing scientific and digital skills, and promoting academic exchange and mobility opportunities for students, faculty members, and researchers. It also explored key areas of cooperation offered through these programmes, along with mechanisms for benefiting from training and development opportunities and exchanging expertise and academic practices among educational institutions. These activities are part of the international Erasmus Days 2026 initiative, held under the theme “Learning and Growing: Skills for Tomorrow.” The theme emphasizes the importance of investing in future-oriented skills, keeping pace with the rapid transformations in higher education, and enhancing the capabilities of academic and administrative staff in line with the requirements of sustainable development and scientific and technological progress. Through organizing these activities, the University of Al-Mustaqbal reaffirms its commitment to advancing academic internationalization, strengthening its relationships with international educational institutions, and creating valuable opportunities for learning, training, and scientific exchange.
