In line with the directives of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, and under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Assist. Prof. Dr. Ali Shakir Majdi, the Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering and Petroleum Industries, Assist. Prof. Dr. Alaa Dhari Jawad, delivered a training course entitled “Preparation of Liquid Detergents and Bleach,” organized by the University’s Continuing Education Center. The course combined chemical knowledge with industrial applications by introducing preparation methods, raw material proportions, and occupational safety requirements. It also highlighted opportunities for establishing small-scale production projects based on scientific knowledge and practical skills. This initiative reflects the College of Engineering’s commitment to transforming knowledge into productive opportunities and promoting the responsible use of resources, in alignment with Sustainable Development Goal 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production).
