As part of the College of Engineering’s efforts to enhance students’ technical skills and connect academic knowledge with modern engineering applications, the Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering at Al-Mustaqbal University organized an introductory workshop entitled “Engineering Design Software and Its Applications,” presented by Assist. Lecturer Abdullah Qais Hashim.
The workshop highlighted the importance of engineering design software and its role in developing prosthetic and orthotic devices. It also introduced students to various engineering applications of digital design technologies, aiming to expand their technical knowledge and strengthen their ability to apply modern tools in their field of specialization.
This workshop reflects the department’s commitment to promoting practical education and keeping pace with technological advancements in prosthetics and orthotics engineering, contributing to the preparation of qualified engineering graduates equipped with relevant technical skills.
Furthermore, the workshop aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), by supporting technical education and encouraging innovation in engineering applications.
