In a significant step toward fostering young talent and transforming academic ideas into innovative practical projects, the College of Engineering at Al-Mustaqbal University is preparing to organize the “Student Engineering Innovation Forum” on Monday, October 26, 2026, at the Student Activities Hall, Ground Floor, Medical Building, with the participation of the college’s five academic departments. The forum is organized in line with the vision of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, and under the guidance of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Assist. Prof. Dr. Ali Shakir Majdi, to promote a culture of innovation and student creativity, encourage students to apply their engineering knowledge, and develop practical solutions to scientific and societal challenges. The event will feature contributions from the Departments of Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Petroleum Industries, Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering, Architectural Engineering, and Civil Engineering. Participating students will showcase a variety of engineering projects, smart applications, and innovative solutions that highlight the diversity and integration of engineering disciplines in addressing contemporary challenges. The forum aims to showcase students’ creative achievements, strengthen their design and practical implementation skills, and promote the exchange of knowledge and ideas among engineering departments. It also seeks to support promising student projects with development potential and encourage the integration of modern technologies and artificial intelligence into sustainable engineering solutions. This event represents a valuable scientific platform that bridges theoretical knowledge and practical application, opening new opportunities for students to transform their ideas into tangible achievements.
