Dr. Thamer Abdul-Jabbar Al-Saidi has recently published his tenth book, entitled “The Legal Regulation of Cybersecurity: A Comparative Analytical Study,” by the Arab Center for Legal Research and Studies. The book examines the legal frameworks governing cybersecurity across various international legislative systems and experiences.
The book presents an analytical, critical, descriptive, and comparative study of cybersecurity legislation, highlighting European directives, Chinese and Japanese cybersecurity laws, and relevant U.S. legislation, in addition to international conventions, particularly the Budapest Convention on Cybercrime.
The book also includes a comprehensive proposed draft law on cybersecurity, intended to serve as a basis for legislative discussion and contribute to developing the legal framework governing this field while addressing the growing challenges posed by the digital environment.
This publication represents a contribution to contemporary legal scholarship, given the increasing importance of cybersecurity in protecting systems and information and strengthening legal responses to cybercrime and cyber threats.
