A student from the College of Dentistry at Al-Mustaqbal University performs a permanent dental filling as part of free clinical treatment services. Israa Mohammed Jassim, a student at the College of Dentistry at Al-Mustaqbal University, performed a clinical procedure—placing a permanent dental filling for a patient—as part of her clinical training. This training is designed to develop students' practical skills and enhance their experience in managing clinical cases. The procedure involved diagnosing the condition and assessing the tooth, followed by removing decayed tissue, cleaning and preparing the dental cavity, applying the necessary materials, placing the permanent filling, and finally shaping and polishing it to restore the tooth’s natural function and ensure its integrity. This activity aims to provide students with essential practical experience, bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and clinical application, and foster their professional skills under the supervision of specialized faculty members. These efforts align with Al-Mustaqbal University’s vision to support practical and educational development, while contributing to the community by providing free dental treatment services. This initiative helps promote health awareness and ensures access to dental care for members of the community.
