As part of enhancing the clinical and practical skills of nursing students at Al_Mustaqbal University, fourth-year students from the Mental and Psychiatric Health Nursing Department conducted their practical training at Merjan Teaching Hospital, under the supervision of the department’s academic staff. The training included learning about the nature of services provided to patients, getting acquainted with psychological and mental assessment methods, and developing therapeutic communication skills and professional patient interaction. This activity aims to bridge theoretical knowledge with clinical applications and boost students’ competence in the field of psychiatric and mental health nursing. This activity reflects the commitment of the College of Nursing to preparing academically and practically qualified nursing staff capable of providing comprehensive nursing care that addresses the psychological, physical, and social aspects of the patient.
