As part of the programming and practical training schedule, practical lectures for the Computer Architecture course, using the Assembly Language, continued on Monday, November 2, 2026, for third-year students. The lectures were taught by Dr. Maitham Nabil Miqdad, with assistance and application by Teaching Assistant Noor Hassan Obaid. The lecture focused on the practical application of the Decimal Adjust After Addition (DAA) instruction. Students were guided and trained in writing programs and code for working with the binary-coded decimal system (BCD), and learned how to modify the contents of the accumulator register after mathematical addition operations. This ensures the accuracy of digital data processing within the processor and a deep understanding of the precise logical operations in computer architecture. The continuation of these lectures reflects the department's commitment to providing a comprehensive learning environment that combines theoretical and practical aspects, contributing to preparing students with the necessary skills to keep pace with the rapid developments in artificial intelligence and technology. Al-Mustaqbal University is ranked first among Iraqi private universities.
