The College of Health Technologies and Medical Sciences at Al-Mustaqbal University participated in a meeting of the Central Scientific Promotions Committee, held on Sunday, November 1, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in the Postgraduate Studies Building. The participation followed the instructions of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Zahraa Haleem Al-Qaim, with representation from the College's Subcommittee for Scientific Promotions. The meeting was opened by Professor Dr. Nada Khazal Hindi, Chair of the Central Scientific Promotions Committee, who welcomed the heads and members of the scientific promotions committees across the university's colleges. She reviewed the key regulations governing the awarding of academic titles, the submission of scientific promotion applications, and the proper preparation and organization of committee minutes. The discussion also addressed the procedures for determining the effective date of an academic title, whether from the date of commencement of service or the date of approval of degree equivalency. The meeting further addressed the follow-up of delayed promotion applications and the ongoing coordination with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to facilitate their processing. In recognition of the College's administrative efficiency, the Central Committee commended the scientific promotions minutes prepared by the College of Health Technologies and Medical Sciences for the second consecutive time. The committee recommended adopting it as a model for all university colleges, praising the College's commitment to discipline, accuracy, and well-organized documentation.
