On Wednesday, November 4, 2026, the College of Dentistry at Future University organized an environmental activity for its students: a visit to the university’s nature reserve. This initiative was part of an effort to raise environmental awareness and foster a culture of preserving the natural environment and wildlife. The visit aimed to educate students on the importance of protecting animals and birds, conserving biodiversity, and cultivating a sense of environmental responsibility. It also sought to instill positive behaviors that contribute to building an environmentally conscious society—one that recognizes the preservation of nature as a shared responsibility. Students from various academic levels participated in the visit, accompanied by Dr. Hassan Khaled and Dr. Walid Jassim. They explored the nature reserve, observed the animals and birds housed there, and listened to presentations by reserve staff regarding the various species, their natural habitats, and the methods used to care for and protect them. The visit lasted approximately an hour and a half, characterized by an engaging and pleasant atmosphere that reflected the students' keen interest in learning about the natural environment and the importance of its protection. This initiative aligns with Future University’s commitment to supporting purposeful student activities, promoting concepts of environmental sustainability, and enhancing student awareness regarding the importance of maintaining a clean and safe environment for future generations.
