The Department of Aviation Technologies Engineering at the College of Engineering Technology, University of the Future, organized a mental health awareness campaign entitled "Because Your Health Is More Than Just Physical" on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, under the supervision of Assist. Lect. Hameed Baqir Karji and Eng. Tammar Ahmed Mohammed. The campaign aimed to raise awareness about the importance of mental health and promote a culture of psychological and emotional well-being among university students. The campaign included the distribution of awareness brochures across the university campus, highlighting the concept and importance of mental health, signs that may indicate psychological stress, and practical guidelines to help students maintain emotional balance and cope positively with daily and academic challenges. The campaign also emphasized the importance of expressing emotions, seeking psychological support when needed, building self-confidence, and recognizing that mental health is just as important as physical health, given its direct impact on academic achievement and psychological and social stability. This initiative is part of the awareness and community engagement activities conducted by the Department of Aviation Technologies Engineering at University of the Future, in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and SDG 4 (Quality Education), by promoting a supportive university environment that prioritizes students' mental health and well-being. #University_of_the_Future_Ranks_First_Among_Private_Universities_in_Iraq
