Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Shakir Majdi, Dean of the College of Engineering at Al-Mustaqbal University, issued formal letters of appreciation to members of the Industrial Advisory Council for the Department of Chemical Engineering and Petroleum Industries. The letters recognized the members’ industry expertise, contributions, and active participation in the Council’s first meeting of the 2026–2027 academic year. The Dean recognized the members for sharing academic and professional insights and offering recommendations to improve academic programs, strengthen practical training for students, and align engineering education outcomes with industry needs in keeping with quality assurance and program accreditation requirements. The initiative reflects the College of Engineering’s commitment to recognizing Iraqi expertise and strengthening partnerships between academia and industry. These partnerships help improve the quality of engineering education, foster innovation, and advance the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure).
