استقبل سعادة سفير جمهورية العراق لدى المملكة المتحدة، الدكتور صالح حسين علي التميمي، وفداً من جامعة المستقبل الأهلية، برئاسة رئيس الجامعة الأستاذ الدكتور حسن مجدي، وعدداً من كادر الجامعة ومجموعة من الطلبة المتدربين. وجرى خلال اللقاء استعراض تجربة الجامعة في إيفاد طلبتها من مختلف التخصصات العلمية إلى المملكة المتحدة، لإتاحة فرصة التدريب الصيفي في عدد من الجامعات والمؤسسات الأكاديمية في لندن، في تجربة تُعد الأولى من نوعها للجامعة، بما يسهم في تطوير مهارات الطلبة وتعزيز خبراتهم الأكاديمية والعملية. كما بحث اللقاء سبل تعزيز التعاون بين الجامعات العراقية ونظيراتها البريطانية، وتبادل الخبرات والتجارب، وفتح آفاق أوسع أمام الطلبة والكوادر الأكاديمية للاستفادة من الإمكانات والخبرات العلمية المتاحة في المملكة المتحدة. وأكد سعادته اهتمام السفارة بدعم المبادرات الأكاديمية والتعليمية التي تسهم في تطوير قدرات الطلبة العراقيين، وتعزيز انفتاح المؤسسات التعليمية العراقية على الجامعات العالمية، بما يدعم مسيرة التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي في العراق. وحضر اللقاء الملحق الثقافي الدكتور قصي الأحمدي، والدكتور وسام الفريجي، مسؤول ملف المغتربين في السفارة. Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in London Receives Delegation from Al-Mustaqbal University His Excellency Dr Salih Husain Ali Al-Tamimi, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraqty, headed by the University President, Professor Dr Hassan Majdi, and comprising a to the United Kingdom, received a delegation from Al-Mustaqbal Universi number of university staff members and a group of student trainees. During the meeting, the delegation presented the University’s initiative to send students from a range of academic disciplines to the United Kingdom to undertake summer training at a number of universities and academic institutions in London. The initiative, the first of its kind for the University, aims to develop students’ skills and enhance their academic and practical experience. The meeting also explored ways to strengthen cooperation between Iraqi universities and their British counterparts, promote the exchange of expertise and experience, and create broader opportunities for students and academic staff to benefit from the scientific and academic resources available in the United Kingdom. His Excellency affirmed the Embassy’s commitment to supporting academic and educational initiatives that contribute to developing the capabilities of Iraqi students and strengthening the engagement of Iraqi educational institutions with international universities, in support of the advancement of higher education and scientific research in Iraq.
