On Sunday, January 25, 2026, the Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence Forum was launched, organized by the Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications in cooperation with the Union of Arab Scientific Research Councils, under the patronage and attendance of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, with the participation of academics and experts. In the opening speech, Prof. Dr. Nidal Khudair Al-Abbadi, Director of the Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications, emphasized the role of universities in leading digital transformation through scientific research, capacity building, and linking knowledge to practical application. The forum included scientific sessions addressing AI in decision-making, digital transformation strategies, and cybersecurity requirements, concluding with key recommendations on strengthening digital infrastructure, supporting research, and enhancing legislative and ethical frameworks for AI technologies. Al-Mustaqbal University is the top private university in Iraq.
