A handicrafts activity was organized by the students and staff of the Department of Artificial Intelligence Technology Engineering on Monday, April 13, 2026, at the Energy Research Center of Future University, as part of Sustainability Week activities. The event involved creating a variety of handmade items using recycled materials through interactive, workshop-style sessions between students and faculty members. This activity aimed to spread environmental awareness and promote sustainability concepts among students, as well as to develop their creative and practical skills in reusing materials. It aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production). Future University, ranked first among private universities in Iraq, reaffirms its commitment to supporting environmental initiatives and encouraging students to innovate in sustainability fields through scientific and practical activities that contribute to serving society and the environment.
