The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, participated in the 4th International Scientific Conference organized by the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Women at the University of Baghdad. Held under the theme "Applications of Entrepreneurship and Knowledge Parks: Horizons for Excellence in Sports Sciences," the event saw wide academic and official attendance. His participation was alongside the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Adnan Al-Jumaili, the Prime Minister’s Advisor, the Head of the Iraqi Academics Syndicate, and several members of parliament, university presidents, and researchers. During the forum, Professor Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi emphasized the strategic importance of linking academic research with entrepreneurship. He stressed Al-Mustaqbal University's support for all initiatives aimed at developing women's sports competencies and opening new professional horizons for female graduates in the labor market to ensure the desired entrepreneurial excellence. The conference corridors witnessed discussions on ways to enhance joint academic cooperation among Iraqi universities and mechanisms to support specialized scientific research that contributes to achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) within the university environment. The President of Al-Mustaqbal University expressed his hope that the recommendations would provide practical solutions to serve the sports field and advance innovation in sports sciences.
