In a distinguished celebratory atmosphere, the Conference Hall at the University Presidency hosted, on Wednesday الموافق 15/4/2026, the closing ceremony of the 4th International Future Sustainability Week, which included honoring a number of outstanding academic figures.
During the ceremony, Professor Dr. Qusay Rashid Abdul Amir, Head of the Power Mechanical Engineering Technologies Department, was honored in recognition of his remarkable scientific efforts and his active contributions to sustainability and engineering innovation.
This recognition was awarded for his design and implementation of an advanced solar-powered water cooling system utilizing the Peltier Effect, which represents a modern engineering solution that supports efficient use of clean energy and reduces reliance on conventional energy sources.
