Al-Mustaqbal University, in collaboration with Mansoura University in Egypt, organized an international workshop titled "International Academic Partnerships: A Gateway to Achieving Sustainable Development—Leading University Experiences from Iraq and Egypt." The event was held as part of the 4th International Future Sustainability Week, aligning with the 17th UN Goal (SDG 17) regarding the strengthening of global partnerships. The event was held under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, and the President of Mansoura University, Professor Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater, and supervised by Professor Dr. Mudhafar Sadiq Al-Zuhairy. The workshop discussed the role of academic cooperation in supporting innovation and the exchange of scientific expertise. The sessions, moderated by Professor Dr. Iman Abdul Aziz, featured rigorous research presentations by Dr. Mudhafar Al-Zuhairy and Engineer Khalid Al-Salihi from Al-Mustaqbal University, and Dr. Mohammed Osama Rageh from Mansoura University. They showcased pioneering experiences in applying sustainability standards within university institutions. The workshop concluded with a set of strategic recommendations, most notably the need to expand joint academic programs, enhance collaborative scientific research, and encourage the exchange of student and faculty delegations between the two brotherly countries. It also emphasized employing digital transformation technologies to develop academic communication bridges that serve comprehensive development goals.
