The College of Health and Medical Technologies, through the Rehabilitation and Employment Unit, organized the First Alumni Forum under the slogan “Our Graduates are Leaders of Sustainability,” in the presence of the Dean of the College, Dr. Zahraa Halim Al-Qayyim, and the Scientific Assistant, Dr. Ahmed Al-Khafaji, along with a distinguished group of faculty members and graduates, on Wednesday الموافق 15/4/2026. This event was held as part of the college’s efforts to strengthen communication with its graduates and support their professional and academic careers.
The forum was organized with the aim of empowering graduates to keep pace with labor market requirements by providing an interactive platform that facilitates the exchange of expertise and opens new horizons for development and employment. It also reinforces the institution’s role in continuously following up with and qualifying its graduates.
The forum included a number of specialized scientific lectures, أبرزها a lecture on the application of artificial intelligence in the healthcare sector, delivered by Dr. Musaddiq Maher, Director of the Artificial Intelligence Center. He highlighted the latest applications that contribute to improving the quality of healthcare, accelerating diagnostic processes, and supporting medical decision-making. In addition, a lecture entitled “Roadmap for Graduates” was presented by Mr. Ali Yousif from the Department of Radiological Technologies, focusing on preparing graduates for the labor market through the development of career planning skills and the enhancement of personal and technical competencies.
On the sidelines of the forum, several distinguished success stories of graduates were showcased. They shared their professional experiences, the challenges they faced after graduation, and how they managed to overcome them and achieve notable accomplishments. This served as a source of inspiration for the audience and contributed to fostering ambition and perseverance among new graduates.
The Dean of the College emphasized that this forum represents an important step toward building bridges of communication between graduates and experts, enhancing knowledge exchange, and keeping pace with modern developments across various sectors.
