Cloud computing is considered one of the most significant innovations that has transformed the way data is managed in modern medical systems, due to its ability to securely store health data, enable rapid sharing, and allow access from anywhere. Today, hospitals rely on the cloud to manage electronic medical records, archive radiological images, and operate intelligent analytics systems.
Cloud computing provides a high level of flexibility, allowing healthcare institutions to scale resources up or down as needed without incurring the high costs associated with traditional infrastructure. It also enhances security through encryption and continuous monitoring, ensuring the protection and privacy of patient data.
Moreover, the cloud contributes to accelerating diagnosis and treatment processes by enabling physicians to instantly access patient data, imaging reports, and laboratory analyses—even when working remotely. It can also be integrated with artificial intelligence to analyze big data and predict diseases as well as future hospital needs.
Thanks to these features, cloud computing has become a fundamental pillar in building advanced and intelligent medical systems that support innovation, improve operational efficiency, and refine the delivery of healthcare services.
