As part of the closing day activities of the 4th Future Sustainability Week, the Department of Dental Technology at the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Future University, organized a scientific seminar entitled: “CAD/CAM Technology in Dental Laboratories and the Role of Digital Scanners in Modern Dentistry.” The seminar featured presentations by third-year students Sara Malik and Ruqaya Mohsen. The seminar addressed the importance of CAD/CAM technologies in advancing dental laboratory work and their role in improving the accuracy and quality of dental prostheses. It also highlighted the use of digital scanners in expediting procedures and reducing errors. Furthermore, the seminar focused on the role of digital transformation in achieving sustainability by minimizing material waste and improving production efficiency, keeping pace with the latest advancements in dentistry and dental technology.
