Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Agricultural Technologies, Professor Dr. Mahdi Abdul Kadhim Abdul, the College of Agricultural Technologies organized an environmental activity on April 22 in celebration of International Mother Earth Day, reaffirming its commitment to promoting sustainability concepts and environmental protection. The event witnessed active participation from faculty members and students, and included a tree-planting campaign within the university campus, in addition to awareness activities aimed at enhancing environmental consciousness and promoting a culture of preserving natural resources and soil health. This activity aligns with the vision of Al-Mustaqbal University in supporting environmental initiatives and contributing to the achievement of sustainable development goals, through encouraging environmentally friendly agricultural practices and strengthening the role of academic institutions in serving the community. The college administration emphasized that celebrating this global occasion reflects a shared responsibility in protecting the planet and working towards building a green and sustainable future for upcoming generations, stressing the importance of continuing such meaningful environmental initiatives. Al-Mustaqbal University ranks first among private universities in Iraq.
