Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Division, the Women’s Affairs Unit at the Engineering Technical College organized a scientific and awareness workshop titled "Environmental Energy and Occupational Safety." The lecture was delivered by Lecturer Assistant Zahraa Salah Hadi on April 14, 2026, as part of the 4th Sustainability Week activities. The workshop featured a valuable lecture aimed at students to enhance their knowledge of safe and responsible energy use and to instill occupational safety principles within work environments, aligning with Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy) and Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth). The session witnessed significant student engagement through discussions on sustainable energy sources and hazard prevention, effectively linking academic concepts with practical applications while highlighting the vital role of female academics in spreading environmental and professional awareness among students.
