Meeting with the Security and Follow-up Officer Enhances a Safe University Environment

On April 22, 2026, Al-Mustaqbal University hosted a meeting that brought together the Security and Follow-up Officer, Fares Majdi Al-Qusair, with a group of professors, lecturers, and student representatives on campus, aiming to enhance a safe and supportive university environment by regulating the relationship between security staff and students. The meeting discussed the best approaches for interaction between both sides, focusing on promoting mutual respect and adherence to institutional regulations, as well as clarifying rights and responsibilities. It also reviewed practices that contribute to strengthening campus safety and security, while emphasizing the importance of establishing direct communication channels to address challenges that students may face. This meeting comes as part of efforts to provide a motivating educational environment characterized by understanding and respect, where security serves as a key pillar supporting the academic journey. This activity aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions). Al-Mustaqbal University, ranked first among private universities in Iraq, reaffirms its continued commitment to supporting initiatives that enhance a safe and stable educational environment.
